COOPERATION
Together with a number of partners Agriom is actively breeding and selecting a variety of soft fruit products. Current product line: strawberry, blackberry and raspberry. These cooperations have led to a substantial amount of introductions that are globally marketed by Advanced Berry Breeding (raspberry) through licences.
FOCUS
Our main breeding and selection criteria are suitability for postharvest, packing and distribution, early production and firm, well tasting fruits. Yield and stability under various climatological circumstances are important criteria as well. For this reason our new selections are tested at different locations and in different climates.
