De Kwakel, June 2025 – The collaboration with Van Leeuwen Bloemen BV (Jan van Leeuwen) enables Agriom to offer specific Phlox flower types worldwide, with the exception of Africa. Two flowerless varieties have resulted from Van Leeuwen Bloemen BV’s own breeding efforts.
The varieties in question are Phlox Green Lion (green) and Phlox Blind Lion (red). Both are characterized by the absence of flowers, with the fully developed flower head being the most appealing part of the product. These two varieties are true specialties, both as mixed bouquet components and as perennial plants.
